Thank you for the music!

Fabulous concert last night by Phoenix Choir.

I loved ‘La Mer’ - I taught French in younger years but not for that reason.

One of my favourite films, back in the Sleepless in Seattle era, was ‘French Kiss’, another classic Meg Ryan, and La Mer was on the movie’s soundtrack.. it brought back happy days hearing it so beautifully sung at All Saints Church.

My favourite of the evening though was ‘Hallelujah’, now immortalised by Shrek.

We are so fortunate to have such talented singers and musicians in our town and I so enjoyed a few precious hours off.
